After the recent brake clearance issues, I upgraded to 15x7's from the stock 14x5.5 daisies. Well, they came in today and I just had to put them right on.
I need to adjust the parking brake a bit but after that, it’s off for an alignment (and compression test).

Advanti s1's right? Have you driven around a bit? The difference switching to a wider wheel makes is pretty intoxicating at first on these...
I’ve got a set of 15x8s in black waiting to go on, so much better looking than the current 6ul’s. But man, talk about a monster offset

Yep, they’re s1's. I just went round the block. The rear brakes were dragging so I didn’t go over 20mph. I also need an alignment real bad (I’ve replaced all the suspension plus the tie rods) so I imagine its going to drive like an entirely different car.

Granted, that means I would have to know what it drove like before. It’s been about 2 months since I drove it for 15 minutes - the total of all I’ve driven it since I bought it.

What’s next after the alignment? Don’t mind me, just picking your brain for ideas...

Compression test. The car has 199,960 mi on the original engine. I want to see where it’s at. If it’s low, it’s time for an Ecotec swap. If it’s good, I’ll fix the clutch and drive it around for a while while I put in a deposit on an Exocet chassis.
